According to police, feces was found on or near the fields daily so school employees began monitoring the area.

Staff at Holmdel High School say someone is leaving human feces on their track and field on a daily basis.

Efforts to reach Tramaglini by phone and email were not successful.

The Kenilworth schools superintendent was arrested after surveillance video caught him in the act on Holmdel High School's football field.

Vito Gagliardi, a lawyer for the varsity board, instructed APP.com that Mr Tramaglini has been "extremely regarded" throughout his three years as head of the native faculties. Kenilworth is a pre-K to high school district.

McGarry said he was flooded with calls, texts and emails from concerned parents, colleagues and community members about the Tramaglini story and a few media outlets incorrectly identified him as the one arrested but he's not the serial defecator. Another questioned why seniors who urinate in the woods of golf courses don't face the long arm of the law.

The board of education did not immediately respond to an email inquiry about the announcement.
