Ariana Grande has proved an unlikely showcase of the capabilities of Nintendo Labo, performing No Tears Left To Cry on the cardboard instruments with Roots and Jimmy Fallon. For those who don't know what Nintendo Labo is, Fallon explained it as best he could. You can watch a video of the Nintendo Labo song below.
We've already seen The Roots and company using schoolroom instruments to make some awesome music, so it's no surprise to see what they can do with the power of the Labo suite.
But that didn't stop her (and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon) from creating a third.
17 killed, booths torched in West Bengal panchayat polls
People standing in queue at a Shantipur booth lynched Trinamool worker Sanjit Pramanik as he tried to take control of the booth. If recent history is anything to go by, the ongoing panchayat polls could be a pointer to how the BJP will fare in the state.
Ariana was on vocals, while Jimmy played the Guitar and Piano Studio.
Fallon's made a notable thing out of having pop stars sing their hit songs while he and The Roots accompany on classroom instruments (Adele's is a great example). We met with Nintendo and they showed us a bunch of cool cardboard things that you can make. Tariq used the Toy-Con Fishing Rod, Kamal and James used the famous Toy-Con Piano, Stro was rocking two Joy-Con to make different drum sounds and Questlove used the Robot Kit to perform the kick-drum and high-hat. Anyone can do what we did really, it just takes time. Of course, it probably helped that The Roots are incredibly talented musicians and Grande is an incredible singer.
