"I just really wanted to be it because it was my first toy and I just loved that character", said Glover of a Lando Calrissian "Star Wars" toy given to him by his father. All that is great and wonderful, but there's really only one person whose approval Glover needs - and that's Williams himself. The latest offering from a galaxy far, far away likely won't be able to top the record setting box office take raked in by Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, but Solo: A Star Wars Story will still undoubtedly be one of the biggest movies of the summer. I don't actually think I could write as a man.
While "Solo's" story is strong and Donald Glover does an absolutely phenomenal job as Lando, Alden Ehrenreich simply fails to deliver a convincing performance as Han, falling woefully short of the casual charm and endearing arrogance fans have come to expect from the character.

While odds say that there will eventually be a regression to the mean, betting on the Nuggets moving up is a sketchy proposition. He said he would obviously welcome the chance to go back to Arizona, where he was born and raised.
Part of the appeal, Glover added, was that Lando mostly roams in a separate realm from the Skywalker clan, whose story is "almost like the Bible" at this point. "It would always be fun to be Lando again", he said of a possible spin-off. He prefers being in a world where "we're just like hustlers and gamblers and space pirates, essentially, so you can do a lot more and have a lot more fun".
"How can you not be pansexual in space?" responded Glover as Ehrenreich and Clarke expressed surprise at hearing the news for the first time. "It's also nice to just, you know, show up in a cape and get pointed in the right direction". Glover said. "There are so many things to have sex with".
L3-37 is Lando's droid that also co-pilots the Millennium Falcon. Glover was incredible as Lando, and he proved to be the ideal casting choice to match Billy Dee Williams' original portrayal. Vos is far removed from Bettany's far more likable and sympathetic Vision character from the "Avengers" installments. And I like those movies a lot.
