AAA's website reports that the national average price of regular unleaded gas has climbed to $2.96, the highest level since late 2014.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was nearly $2.68 Wednesday, up 6 cents over the past month and 57 cents more than one year ago, according to AAA.

Oklahomans are paying an average of $2.66 per gallon at the pump, up 56 cents from Memorial Day past year.
