Louis was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, on St George's Day, weighing 8lb 7oz.

The family event is sure to make for some memorable moments, especially with his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who regularly steal the show with their cuteness.

As we've seen Prince William's style evolve from perfectly pressed overalls as a toddler to his sweater and jeans adolescent years to his dapper uniforms and now his uber cool-dad style, we can say with confidence that Will has come a long way since his world debut.

No further details of timing have been shared; Princess Charlotte's took place at 4:30 p.m.in England, however, so it's likely it will be an afternoon event. Their sister, Charlotte, had her christening at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

George shyly held onto Prince William's hands as Kate, dressed in white, pushed Charlotte in a vintage 1950s silver-wheeled Millson pram.

What will Prince Louis wear at his christening?

The trio were cheered on by congregating crowds of well-wishers. Prince George's christening back in 2013 only had 22 guests, with only senior royals, four members of the Middleton family, the seven godparents and their spouses among the guests.

Prince Louis of Cambridge's christening will take place on July 9.

Louis' christening is expected to be private, attended by close family and friends.
