Trump's words reversed his declaration upon his return from Singapore that North Korea had ended its nuclear ambitons. Trump touted the agreement as a significant step toward peace in the world.

The Lakers have sought a veteran point guard to direct their offense for the better part of a year, after they traded D'Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets on June 22, 2017. Randle is more of a ball-handler and off-the-dribble threat.

The Lakers have renounced Julius Randle, making him an unrestricted free agent, league source tells ESPN.

The Lakers could create additional cap space this summer by trading Luol Deng and his $18 million salary for the next two seasons, but partners would seem to be scarce. It includes a player option on the second year, which can allow Randle, 23, to return into unrestricted free agency in a much looser financial market in 2019. A LeBron-Boogie duo on the Lakers would surely be fun to watch. He was the No. 7 overall draft pick out of Kentucky in 2014 but played in only one game his rookie season before breaking a leg.
