Still ideal: Anthony Joshua celebrates defeating Alexander Povetkin in their heavyweight title fight.

Whyte, who has previously lost to Joshua, was on punditry duty and was left frustrated that he was not allowed to be ringside ahead of any potential call-out.

Wilder said in a video posted to his Instagram account that he just defeated one of the best heavyweights in the world in Luis Ortiz earlier this year and that he's now coming for the next best fighter in the division. Joshua landed a few good uppercuts and left hooks and likely took the round with his accurate punching.

"We will go away now and try and make a fight with Wilder", Hearn said.

Joshua says he will fight someone on 13 April and "give the fans what they want" but he won't say who it might be.

Povetkin, 39, knew this was most likely his last shot after being floored four times in a unanimous points loss to Wladimir Klitschko five years ago. But before getting that superfight against Wilder, Joshua will have to get past Povetkin. Two failed doping tests in 2016 cost Povetkin a crack at Wilder, but he looked risky when he knocked out Joshua's fellow Briton David Price in March. Povetkin was aggressive and tried to hurt Joshua with short right hands, but often landed on the guard of Joshua or swung at air.

Joaquin Phoenix's 'Joker' revealed in full makeup for first time
The footage doesn't show much but it does give us a look at Phoenix sporting some eerily familiar Clown makeup. Joker is shaping up to be a standalone, possibly R-rated film that doesn't tie into previous DC Comics movies.

Povetkin represents a fearsome challenge for Joshua having only tasted defeat once in his career.

Joshua defends his heavyweight titles later this evening against WBA mandatory challenger Povetkin.

Joshua, 28, had a significant height and reach advantage of several inches over Povetkin.

Povetkin looked hurt but was able to get back to his feet, but was still badly hurt.

Povetkin, who in 2016 was given an indefinite ban from boxing after testing positive for the banned substance meldonium that was later cut to a year, had insisted in the build-up he was a far stronger fighter than the one beaten by Klitschko.
