Liverpool want to be the ugliest team to play against, says Klopp

Virgil van Dijk was withdrawn in the second half during Liverpool's 3-0 win over Southampton, however Jurgen Klopp has revealed it was a precaution.

Mohamed Salah has scored only two goals in six games this season and is now on a three-game goal drought - his joint-longest run without a goal since joining Liverpool.

Liverpool maintained their finest start to any season, earning a sixth straight Premier League win 3-0 over Southampton as Manchester City returned to form with a dazzling 5-0 win at Cardiff City on Saturday.

Southampton were the authors of their own downfall however when Hoedt misplaced Xherdan Shaqiri's deflected shot into his own net, with Liverpool going on to totally dominate from that point onward.

Liverpool had never before won their first seven games in all competitions in any season but they marked Juergen Klopp's 600th match as a manager by surpassing their 1961-62 season record when they won their first six.

"It was not easy, to be honest".

Southampton, meanwhile, has struggled this season, winning only one of its five league fixtures, that being a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on September 1.

"It's just good to have him".

Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell spoke about the death during a meeting with the media on Tuesday. Richards, who faces life in prison if convicted, reported in a financial affidavit that he has no job.

There is a feeling he is trying too hard to score at the same remarkable rate he managed last season but Klopp has no concerns and insists Salah is working harder than ever before.

"The best news I have had in the last two weeks is how we have changed or reinvented again our defensive skills", he went on.

"It's not cool, but should not be too serious".

"He should be absolutely OK, hopefully".

'I made different decisions but his time will come, that is for sure.

"I think Wolves deserved it".

The Reds finished in the top four and lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last term thanks in part to Salah's goals.

Without Danny Ings, the Saints switched to a one-man front-line of Shane Long and as a result weren't able to break through a Liverpool defence that handed a first league start to towering centre-half Matip.
