"I think had I made a decision I would have articulated it better", Conway, who serves as counselor to President Donald Trump, said Tuesday at the Atlantic Festival in Washington.

Earlier Tuesday night, the New York Times published a bombshell report detailing how Trump received hundreds of millions of dollars from his father's real estate empire, undercutting the image Trump has long crafted of himself as a self-made man.

"My whole life, I've heard you're innocent until proven guilty". "This is a very hard time".

"LIAR Christine Ford's entire testimony just got blown up by an ex-boyfriend of 6 years", said Owens "She has HELPED people prep to take polygraph tests, never had a fear of flying-oh, and of course, never once mentioned her sexual assault".

In a separate remarks, the president's son Donald Trump Jr said he was more anxious for his sons than his daughters in the current climate which they see being tilted against men.

"I had one beer!" Oh good. How did you get home?

McConnell told reporters Tuesday that "I can tell you with certainty" that the Federal Bureau of Investigation report will be finished and the Senate will vote this week, though he didn't specify when. 'Where was the place?' I don't remember. By Ford's own testimony there are gaps in her memory, there are facts that she can not remember. I don't know. Upstairs?

The nation is paying close attention to the ongoing controversy surrounding the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Lee is co-author of a letter by mental health professionals warning Kavanaugh's behavior is consistent with someone struggling with an alcohol problem.

Democrats, Cornyn said Wednesday, "won't accept the FBI investigation because they continue to add additional things, throw them against the wall hoping they will stick".

While much of the media panned his remarks as mockery of Ford, former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer countered, saying Trump simply "pointed out numerous inconsistencies in her account".

At a rally in Mississippi Tuesday evening, Trump complained about the impact the allegations have had on Kavanaugh and his family and the delay some in his own party pressed for to further investigate the claims.

Thad Cochran, is in a three-way special election against former Republican State Sen. That means if all the Democrats vote against Kavanaugh, Trump could not afford to have more than one Republican oppose his nominee, with Vice President Mike Pence casting a tiebreaking vote.

"An angry Brett Kavanaugh told the Senate Judiciary Committee late last week: 'This confirmation process has become a national disgrace".

She did not say if it would affect her vote.

"I know a lot about sexual assault and so the thought that we don't care about that is ridiculous", Corker said.

During his television appearance, Flake reiterated that he, too, was concerned that Kavanaugh at times was "sharp and more partisan that a lot of us would like to see".

Leahy, one of the most senior Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, says he worries the fight will have a lasting impact on both the Senate and the courts.

Ford denied under oath that she had ever done anything like that.

Ms Ford's legal representatives wrote a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray asking why the bureau has not contacted their client after she offered to cooperate in its reopened background investigation of Mr Kavanaugh.

Earlier Tuesday, Senate Republicans and Democrats sparred over the ongoing FBI investigation, which is expected to be completed by Friday. He said Kavanaugh seemed willing to "mislead senators about everything from the momentous to the mundane" to ensure his ascension to the high court.
