At his rally, the president mocked Ford's testimony with a question-and-answer patter that brought cheers from the crowd in Southaven, Mississippi.
"I had one beer, right?"
"How did you get home?" I don't remember. How'd you get there? That's the only thing I remember.' And a man's life is in tatters. I don't remember. How many years ago? 'I don't know.' Upstairs, downstairs?
Chuck Grassley, the Republican chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, separately demanded in a letter to Ford's lawyers that they provide a range of materials to determine whether her allegations are credible.
Democrats are trying to flip at least two Republicans into the No column, presuming all of their members vote against the Federal Court judge's confirmation.
At the Senate, meanwhile, Republicans accused Democrats of doing everything in their power to delay a confirmation vote.
"We also sent you a series of emails and letters in which we identified witnesses and evidence that would likely assist the FBI in its investigation into Mr. Kavanaugh's sexual assault of Dr. Ford and asked you to forward them to the supervisory agent", the letter reads.
Kavanaugh has emphatically denied Ford's allegation that he sexually assaulted her at a gathering when they were teens. I wish he hadn't of done it. That means if all the Democrats vote against Kavanaugh, Trump could not afford to have more than one Republican oppose his nominee, with Vice President Mike Pence casting a tiebreaking vote.
Kavanaugh has denied claims of sexual misconduct by three different women - Ford, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick.

The report is the latest indication that Kavanaugh drank to excess in his youth and, apparently, became belligerent. His friend Chris Dudley then allegedly threw a glass that hit a 21-year-old man in the ear, according to a witness.

"I can only imagine how bad this entire process has been for Judge Kavanaugh and his family", Graham said Tuesday. Yale University classmate Charles Ludington released a statement saying Kavanaugh's testimony - in which he eventually said he'd never blacked out - was a "blatant mischaracterization".
Ford's attorneys say they heard nothing from anyone at the bureau since that Friday night phone call, and they say it is "inconceivable" that the agency could conduct a deeper inquiry into the allegations against Kavanaugh without interviewing Ford.
Kavanaugh has denied the allegation.
President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday that the FBI had the authority to interview anyone it desired, pushing back against charges by Senate Democrats that the White House was limiting the scope of the investigation.
McConnell singled out Swetnick's accusations, for which he said "there conveniently happened to be zero witnesses". Trump, however, spent far more time discussing Kavanaugh's confirmation process than Hyde-Smith's candidacy.
Keyser, a longtime friend of Ford's, was present at the small party where Ford was attacked, according to Ford's testimony before the Judiciary Committee.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Tuesday he will donate another $20 million to a super PAC helping Democratic Senate candidates this year.
But he said they are not following up at all on Ramirez's account that Kavanaugh thrust his genitals in her face, forcing her to touch them without her consent, during an alcohol-fueled party when they were students at Yale University in the mid-1980s.
