Swetnick also claimed in her initial statement that the boys at these parties would line up outside bedrooms, waiting their turn to rape the incapacitated women inside.
But Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told Business Insider that Avenatti's involvement was essentially irrelevant because the allegations were Swetnick's.
Swetnick claimed in a previous sworn declaration that she witnessed Kavanaugh and Judge drugging and gang-raping girls at parties in the early 1980s when they were high schoolers at Georgetown Preparatory Academy.
The NBC personality has been all over the Kavanaugh coverage and posted several tweets about Swetnick on Monday, including one directed to the woman's attorney, Michael Avenatti.
"You can't argue that it's not compelling and in the public interest", she said. "I saw him try to shift clothing", she recalled.
'I saw him push girls into walls, ' she said. He would pretend to stumble and stumble into them and knock hem into a wall.
"Julie never said anything about being sexually assaulted, raped, gang-raped or having sex against her will", the letter said.
Kelly's series of tweets has people saying that she is victim-shaming Swetnick.
"She first tried sex with multiple guys while in high school and still liked it from time to time", Dennis Ketterer, the former friend, wrote.
Even if Ketterer's statements about Swetnick are accurate, they don't diminish the severity or credibility of Swetnick's allegations, she said.
'What happened to me is probably the most horrendous, very bad thing that can happen to a human being.
"My body was violated My soul was broken ..."

As I sat alone at the end of the bar, Julie approached me.
"You know what I say to that?".
Swetnick says she can not be sure that Kavanaugh was among the attackers but says she remembers him hanging around in the area where she started feeling unwell, and remembers hearing him laughing along with others.
"When I talked to him about possibly bringing her on to help with my campaign, he told me that she had psychological and other problems at the time", he wrote.
"One important thing to note is that this investigation was launched last Friday in order to get to the bottom of Ford's allegations, not necessarily Swetnick's or the other accuser's", Donachie told CBN News.
Officers agreed to check records to see whether a report was filed, but said it may take up to a month to respond.
Swetnick is one of three women to accuse Kavanaugh of inappropriate behavior dating back to the 1980s. A Quinnipiac poll showed a gender divide over Kavanaugh's nomination as well, with men believing Kavanaugh over Christine Blasey Ford - who testified last week that Kavanaugh assaulted her - 47 to 40 percent, while women backed Ford 55 to 35 percent.
"I would see boys standing outside rooms, congregated together, sort of like a gauntlet", she said.
Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation vote is now in limbo, after President Trump requested that the FBI perform an investigation into the claims of Kavanaugh's original accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
"The White House has given a pretty broad mandate to the Federal Bureau of Investigation", he said.
"At the same time the committee refuses to provide documents, they don't hesitate to provide this piece of garbage", Avenatti said Tuesday afternoon in a phone interview.
