The Houston Rockets general manager is no stranger to making bold moves in order to try and elevate his team to the level of the Golden State Warriors, and he reportedly is interested in acquiring disgruntled Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler.
Despite the fact that we keep inching closer and closer to the start of the 2018-19 National Basketball Association season, the Minnesota Timberwolves still have not accommodated Jimmy Butler's trade request. Butler reportedly turned to Layden during the scrimmage and screamed "you (bleeping) need me".
"A lot of it's true", said Butler. "So all my emotion came out at one time". He acknowledged that it might not have been "the right way to do it", but he added, "I can't control that when I'm out there competing". He was with his teammates in the locker room at the team's practice facility Wednesday morning, league sources said. This whole situation has to be staged. It's obvious this whole thing was a set up.
GoFundMe campaigns launch for victims of limo crash that killed 20
Everyone inside the limousine, including the driver, died in the crash, and all those killed Saturday were adults, police added. Prestige Limousine, the vehicle's operator, was ordered to cease operations until the investigation is complete.
"Jimmy Butler fantastic person, fantastic player, but his longevity because of some of the injuries that have occurred kind of scare me a little".
Butler scrimmaged with the Timberwolves third team and took on the team's starters, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. Richardson, 25, who's considered a strong, young two-way player, averaged 12.9 points in 81 starts last season.
A couple of Butler's teammates were particularly vague when asked about Butler's level of participation in practice on Wednesday. The team hasn't followed through yet, but may feel the heat to get something done with more practices like this one. That's raw me - me at my finest, me at my purest - that's what you're gonna get inside the lines.
