Other specs include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE Cat18 support (up to 1.2Gbit/s), 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+ and wireless charging, and IP67 water and dust resistance rating.

The Razer Phone 2 features the same 5.7-inch UltraMotion IGZO display that offers both 120 Hz screen refresh and 120 Hz touch sampling.

Razer's new phone seems like a pretty decent upgrade from last year's Razer Phone. The phone measures 158.5 x 78.99 x 8.5 mm in terms of dimensions. It comes with four remappable multi-function buttons, Razer Mecha-Tactile action buttons, a hair trigger mode and an adjustable phone mount. The Razer Hammerhead USB-C ANC is an in-ear headset that draws power for its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology through the USB-C port on your Razer Phone 2.

In spite of incremental improvements, the Razer Phone 2 unsurprisingly continues being touted as the ultimate option for mobile gamers.

Inside the Razer Phone 2 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (2.80 GHz) with Adreno 630 GPU, a common feature in many flagships. Performance will also be improved because of the presence of Razer vapor chamber cooling system that provides thermal cooling.

All of which suggests the aliens are going to absolutely love the Venom/A Star Is Born cross-over film someone is frantically pitching as we speak.

While it still looks exactly the same as the original Razer Phone, the Razer Phone 2 adds custom Chroma RGB lighting into the mix. Just a few days ago, Google unveiled the Pixel 3 phones, practically confirming every rumor that we heard in the past few months.

The biggest letdown is arguably that the Razer Phone 2 is launching with Android 8.1 (with Nova Launcher) rather than Android Pie, though Razer says it is working on an update to Pie that will come later.

Also improved is the camera, which is now a dual camera system with a 12MP optically stabilized wide angle lens and a 12MP 2x telephoto lens.

The Phone 2's body sticks with the large-bezeled design of its predecessor, allowing it to deploy a pair of speakers for stereo sound. While many OEMs discount their previous-generation products after releasing their successors, Razer didn't do so and is actually still prominently featuring the original Razer Phone on its website, going so far as to allow consumers to easily compare the two and decide which one is the "right" fit.

Razer Phone 2 is priced at £779.99 and will be shipped to all customers that pre-order it on November 9.
