My particular invite photo is below, but it looks like there are even more than I initially suspected.
Reporters were emailed invitations to the event on Thursday, which featured colourful, artistic renderings of the Apple logo.
To view them all, you can navigate to Apple's event website and repeatedly refresh the page. Apple will also live stream the presentation. The location doesn't necessarily tell us anything, either, but it will be interesting to see if that plays into the announcement at all.
Apple will hold a product announcement on October 30 in NY, where it will likely unveil new iPads and Mac computers.
So far, we're expecting at four hardware products.

Before the end of the year, we're expecting the Cupertino giant to release its next in line flagship iPad Pro models which are said to feature its biggest redesign since its initial launch. If legit, this means the smaller iPad Pro model will measure in at 178mm wide and 247mm tall, while the larger-screened model will come in at 215mm x 280mm.
The choice to ditch Lightning wouldn't necessarily be met with total rejection by users, since it would open up the possibility of using a whole range of existing USB-C accessories. Some rumours have also pointed out towards the arrival of new Mac devices. There has been some back-and-forth about whether or not this new model will replace the 12-inch MacBook altogether.
Of course, it's been almost an year and a half since we were last treated to a new iPad Pro.
There may be some surprises, too.
Other things we could see include an Airpod refresh featuring the long-awaited wireless charging case and maybe a new set of Apple-branded over-the-ear headphones. It is still uncertain if the iPads are the only products Apple will unveil.
