As part of the buildup for the nationally televised game Thursday, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden told FOX Sports' Howie Long that he gets calls from other players who are "dying to play for the Raiders".

In his National Football League debut, Mullens completed 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions as the 49ers thrashed the Raiders 34-3 in a Thursday night contest. "The brand of the Raiders is an exciting one and I think a lot of players, no doubt, do want to play for us in the future".

The Niners (2-7) couldn't have played much better in snapping a six-game losing streak and winning for just the second time in two years without Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. After throwing for three touchdowns in the Raiders' loss to Indianapolis on Sunday, Carr had no TD passes and just 171 passing yards.

Raheem Mostert added a 52-yard touchdown run and the Niners outgained the Raiders 405 to 248 for the game.

He's making $14.7 million this season, and his $15.6 million contract for 2019-20 is partially guaranteed for $3.8 million. Smith is one of several veterans on the Cavaliers' roster that is being shopped around in trade talks around the league.

Gould's second field goal, a 25-yarder with 3:59 remaining, capped the scoring.

The 49ers, who struggled against the Cardinals, looked like a playoff team against the Raiders. Dekoda Watson had 1 1/2 sacks in his first game of the season after getting activated from IR earlier in the day.

"This is awesome", Owens said before the game.
