The Bears (5-3) have enjoyed faster-than-expected success this season and are in first place of the NFC North through Week 9. The Bears now lead the division with a 5-3 record while the 5-3-1 Vikings head to a BYE week. The goal as we go is to be able to have a lot of those throughout the season. The advantage is the Bears have the Lions coming up this Sunday, so they should be well prepared for film study.

The only other game unaccounted for on the remaining schedule would be Cincinnati Dec. 30.

The Bears are 6-25 in the division since 2013. "It's week by week, it's practice by practice".
