There wasn't so much as a shuffling in the top 10, in spite of Oklahoma's woeful defense on Saturday in the win against Oklahoma State.

Big Ten West champion Northwestern earned the No. 22 spot after being unranked last week.

Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and MI stayed put in the top four, with Georgia and Oklahoma still knocking on the door at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. The only three teams ahead of the Wolverines are Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame in that order.

The Big 12 got some solid respect from the committee. Every team inside the top 10 won and only Oklahoma, which hosted rival Oklahoma State, had a game that was close on the scoreboard. The Buckeyes would face projected Pac-12 champ No. 8 Washington State.

Pitt, who Clemson is likely to play in the ACC championship game on December 1, is also unranked.
