Google unveils holiday season savings on games, apps, books and movies

Google just announced Black Friday deals for the Play store including $0.99 movies

But the movie rental price seems perfectly situated to the Thursday of Thanksgiving itself.

The movie discounts are just a part of Google's digital discounts for the weekend.

It advised anyone who had stored romaine lettuce in their refrigerator to wash down the shelves where the leaves had been kept. Symptoms of E. coli can include nausea, vomiting, headache, mild fever, severe stomach cramps and watery or bloody diarrhea.

Google also said today that a number of games will be discounted on Thanksgiving as well. But what if you're on the hunt for Google Play Store goodness? Though many mobile games tend to go the free-to-play route, there are a few discounted paid games worth considering. For example, season one and two of Game of Thrones usually cost $38.99 each, but Google has dropped them to $19.99. Other titles on sale include Sicario: Day of the Soldado ($9.99) and Now You See Me ($4.99). You'll find savings on games like Star Wars: KOTOR, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In return you get full downloads of original TV series and movies making it ideal for entertainment when the internet isn't going to be available.

Google Play is also offering up to 80 percent off some popular gaming titles and promotions on subscription fitness apps and meditation app Headspace.
