Avengers 4 Endgame trailer Steve Rogers has got a spiffy new haircut

What happened: Marvel Studios dropped a new trailer for "Captain Marvel" Monday during halftime of "Monday Night Football". Returning to Earth could put the planet in jeopardy as the Kree are not exactly the friendliest humanoid species in the cosmos. "Then there's this human part of her that is flawed but is also the thing that she ends up leading by". The story of the perpetual war between the two alien races is pretty popular among comic-book readers for its large cast of characters from multiple Marvel franchises, and an epic, long-form story.

Captain Marvel is scheduled to arrive a few months before the much-anticipated Avengers 4 and is expected to have a co-relation with the events that took place in Avengers: Infinity War.

Larson is joined by Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. members Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, both of whom got the digital de-aging treatment for the 90s-set storyline. "Noble warrior heroes." Cut to a montage of Danvers' backstory, from being involved in a jet fighter accident and being infused with Kree blood, which has allowed her to "live longer, stronger, superior".

As Nick Fury sums up from the get-go, "Skrulls are the bad guys". I couldn't help but suspect that Marvel added a shot of Carol smiling early in this trailer to counteract all the dumb calls for a smiling Captain Marvel after the first trailer.

After twelve rounds, the judges scored the match 115-111 for Wilder, 114-110 for Fury and 113-113, leading to a split draw decision.

Captain Marvel will arrive in cinemas on March 8th, 2019. Carol - played by Brie Larson - is already a skilled warrior but has amnesia about her life on Earth and has yet to know of her true abilities. According to Rocket Raccoon, who ends up on Carol's ship, the cat is a really a Flerken.

Best of all, we have even more of an idea of what the movie will be about.

The Brie Larson version of Captain Marvel is on her way via a movie set to begin its global release the week of March 8, 2019.
