The Ghost Survivors sets itself up as a "What If?" side story that will see players take control of other characters from Resident Evil 2.
Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil 2 will be getting some retro-themed costumes for Leon and Claire along with a new game mode.
The news was announced at a Resident Evil 2 Launch party event, stating that it is part of a special Japanese promotion. This will feature multiple playable characters, including Robert Kendo and Katherine (the mayor's daughter), and includes randomized elements, an in-game shop, and a loose narrative. Capcom is hoping to make this mode as replayable as possible, though there is no mention of whether multiplayer will be included.
The voice acting may be a bit spotty in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, at least for the English-speaking localization. The costumes will then become free on March 22 for everyone else (no confirmation of a Western date just yet). There is not yet a price attached.
Netflix in the running for top Oscars prize with 'Roma'
Netflix is hoping Roma , which won the Golden Globe for best foreign language motion picture, will carry it to the throne. Steve Spielberg has said Netflix films are more like TV movies and deserve an Emmy , not an Oscar .
If you're already holding out for DLC, I'll imagine you're not relishing the wait for the game.
According to ResidentEvil.Net, almost two and a half million demo players globally allowed their Resident Evil 2 remake stats and progress to be tracked, but only 26% finished the 30-minute demo.
Though we don't know much about the mode, we do know that it will have a few enemies that players won't find in the base game.
The Resident Evil 2 remake will be out January 25th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
