Gil Brandt and Pat Bowlen were added as contributors while Johnny Robinson was added as a member of the Senior Committee. Brandt helped build one of the most dominant franchises in sports along with Hall of Famers Tex Schramm and Tom Landry. After making the switch from flanker to safety in his third season, Robinson recorded 57 career interceptions, was selected to seven Pro Bowls and named All-Pro six times. He led the league in interceptions on three occasions and was named the 2004 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was a key member of the Broncos' secondary, leading the team to five playoff appearances and four division titles.

To be eligible for enshrinement, modern-era players and coaches must have last played or coached more than five seasons ago. He also led the National Football League in interceptions twice and led his team in the same category six times.

Brandt's eye for talent helped the Dallas Cowboys post 20 consecutive winning seasons (1966-85) during his tenure from 1960-88.
