Jennifer Lawrence engaged to boyfriend Cooke Maroney

As per several reports, the star got engaged recently to her boyfriend Cooke Maroney after over six months of dating.

It was first reported on Tuesday that the Oscar victor was set to Wednesday the art gallery director, and representatives for The Hunger Games star have now confirmed to multiple outlets that Jennifer has accepted her boyfriend's proposal. It's reported that the pair was introduced by Jennifer's best friend and date to the 2014 Oscars, Laura Simpson. "They were sitting in a corner and she was wearing a black dress", said a witness to the scene.

Jennifer's engagement comes after a dating history including mother! collaborator, director Darren Aronofsky, Coldplay's Chris Martin and her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult. But while they've been photographed together on several dates since then, we haven't really heard a lot from Lawrence about her beautifully blossoming romance. Her upcoming film Dark Phoenix is scheduled to release later this year.
