Captain Marvel star Brie Larson pushes for off-screen inclusion

Larson mentioned that she did a lot of training similar to that of professional wrestlers to prepare for her role as Captain Marvel. It does, however, indicate that Captain Marvel will be part of the main plot from very early on, rather than making a grand, game-changing appearance later in the movie. But while it's all well and good that Captain America and the rest of the gang now have a powerful new ally to help them take down Thanos, one of the biggest questions that remains is where exactly has Brie Larson's heroine been all this time.

It doesn't really surprise me that Larson would not know who Captain Marvel is.

Cap then says to give it a reboot, with Banner questioning that they don't even know what this thing is. The "stand back up" montage used so well in the marketing works even better in the film itself as a collective response to the moments - and men - in this woman's life who've knocked her down and/or told her that's where she belongs. But their larger context never truly comes into focus.

Has it really been 10 years and 20 movies?

It was that spirit, her will to be better than herself and prove to the world that she's more than just a woman in a man's world, that won my heart. Just this week, Sen. "She's sarcastic ... a little bit of a mean girl".

Williams CTO Paddy Lowe takes ‘leave of absence’ from team
A team spokesperson confirmed to Autosport that Lowe "is taking a leave of absence from the business for personal reasons". Williams' slow start, plus on-track performance in testing, led to speculation over Lowe's immediate future at the team.

"Captain Marvel" has a number of other strengths as well, and there were numerous details in the film that left me feeling utterly charmed. But Captain Marvel takes it all in stride, aided by some fine comrades. This included new versions of Spider-Man, the X-Men, Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and more, and all of them could possibly come together in a different kind of Marvel Cinematic Universe event feature.

During the movie, Goose swallows the Tesseract to keep it away from Star Force - the Kree's Seal Team 6, led by Jude Law's Yon-Rogg, which Carol is a member of at the beginning of the movie. Its clunky first act plops audiences on Carol's personal journey as she traverses through space with the Kree army that took her in. Hit the comments section below with your thoughts, and check out Captain Marvel in theaters this Friday, March 8th. And my reply would be, "You have no idea how many aliens I fought this week". "It is surreal that the film is finally happening". That message hit me in the feels because it was a reminder that-though our past will break us down-it is important to always pick ourselves up. The movie is larded with details suggesting that the tie between the two women is more than mere friendship, from their long hugs and limpid glances to the declaration that Maria and her daughter, Monica (Akira Akbar), are Carol's real family, given her distance from her own relatives. And that lack of experience shows in the film's climax. "I love it. I love every single song", Larson marveled. It's hard to say, but I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't exactly how Carol's arrival on Earth plays out in Avengers: Endgame. In fact, it's this one in June, 1995.

JAX: And I would love it!

"Captain Marvel" isn't it.
