Lori Loughlin's Daughter Olivia Jade Loses Sephora Deal Amid Scandal

Lori Loughlin Posts $1 Million Bail After College Entrance Scam Exposed

Actress Lori Loughlin arrives at the People's Choice Awards 2017 in Los Angeles Calif. on Jan. 18 2017

The 19-year-old, who was allegedly accepted into USC under false pretenses thanks to a hefty bribe on the part of her mom and fashion designer dad, Mossimo Giannulli, is an influencer that has regularly collaborated with fashion and beauty brands, sharing sponsored content with her 1.3 million Instagram followers and nearly 2 million YouTube channel subscribers. Olivia's mother is accused of greasing some palms to get her into USC, and at the exact same time that's happening, she's balling out on a USC power player's yacht.

The coaches were paid by the parents to lie and say that the children were being considered as athletic recruits because the admission process is generally less stringent for athletes, prosecutors said.

USC's interim President Wanda Austin tells the Los Angeles Times that about a half-dozen students affiliated with Singer's firm will be barred.

Giannulli, his wife actress Lori Loughlin and "Desperate Housewives" actress Felicity Huffman are the most well-known accused. "I think they did fine, ' Olivia said on the Zach Sang Show, before joking that her parents were 'hypocrites". The indictment says they "agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team - despite the fact that they did not participate in crew - thereby facilitating their admission to USC".

Only days after a multi-million dollar scam was revealed involving college admissions, the daughter of one of the actresses involved is now losing endorsement deals left and right.

The University of Texas at Austin is defending itself against a lawsuit alleging it played a role in a wide-ranging college bribery scheme.

Lori Loughlin said she's in "complete denial" about daughter Isabella Giannulli going away to college in a 2017 interview that surfaced on March 13, amid college scam bribe allegations against the actress.

Hallmark Star Lori Loughlin Charged In Alleged College Admissions Scheme

FBI Special Agent Joseph Bonavolonta said the parents spent anywhere from $200,000 to $6.5 million to guarantee admissions for their children. "You look at this and you go, 'If you have the money to afford a tutor, you already have an advantage, '" she said.

She stars in the Hallmark series "When Calls My Heart" and is scheduled to appear in several new "Garage Sale Mysteries" movies and is a regular part of the channel's holiday movie slate. The racketeering conspiracy case includes 33 parents, as well nine coaches from universities that include USC, UCLA, Yale, Stanford and Georgetown.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Olivia and her parents have since been slammed on social media over the matter.

The two are among 50 people charged for taking part in the largest such scam in USA history, which steered students into elite universities including Yale, Georgetown and Stanford by cheating the admissions process.

Federal Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says Loughlin is expected to surrender Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. Her husband, the designer Mossimo Gianulli, is also charged with fraud, and appeared in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday before being released on $1 million bail. A magistrate judge released him on $500,000 secured bond and overruled a federal prosecutor's objection to Hodge keeping his passport.

Loughlin and Giannulli both face federal fraud charges in US District Court in Boston.
